Last week Drake and I took a road trip with Cara and the girls to see Grandma and Grandpa Lichfield. We had so much fun! I was a little concerned that we were crazy driving 8 hours with 3 little kiddos, but the kids were very well behaved considering the circumstances. We even managed to get out of a speeding ticket during the trip! Drake and Layla had a great time playing with the cats, having tea parties, and running around the house together. Grandma and Grandpa were so patient with all of the extra noise! One of the highlights of the trip was a picnic to the park, visiting with horses and riding in the camper! The kids loved it, and hopefully it will be a great little memory for them.
This will be a long post because I am writing about our road trip and Easter. On Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs, Drake loved coloring on the eggs with crayons. He was confused that he couldn't eat his eggs because Dad had just fed him a peeled hard-boiled egg.
This year we celebrated Easter Sunday at the Tarullo house. Grandma T planned out an Easter egg hunt for all of the grand-kids. We had a wonderful roast for Easter dinner, and ended our Easter celebration with Egg wars!!
