We made it up to Boise, for the first time, to visit our friends Ryan and Tess. We had a perfect weekend and loved Boise!
We had a picnic on Simplot Hill. Which is a huge green hill with a beautiful house and giant flag on it.
Drake was a little fussy the first day, but soon got into the relaxing feel of the weekend. He did great riding to and from Boise, which we are happy about because we treated it like a trial run for our move home to Colorado this week. He is about 9.5lbs! Which means he has almost doubled in size in the last 6 weeks!
Needless to say, the hill brought the inner-child out of me and Ryan. We were trying to fly off the hill, we were NOT Larping (Live Action Role Playing) I can't stress that enough.
We topped off the festivities with a BBQ and fun game of illegal yet wholesome lawn darts. Which Callie and I won! (A big deal since it was the first time we have ever beat Ryan and Tess in anything!)
Drake's face looks chubby in that picture! I can't wait to meet him!

ReplyDeleteOh, and as for the lawn darts...I forgot to tell you about the time my brother was on his mission in North Carolina and he was at his Bishop's house playing him in ping pong. My brother was about to beat him when the Bishop blew his top and yelled,"You don't come into a man's house and beat him!" My brother let him win after that. I thought about playing that card and yelling at you, but I didn't.
